More Listings, More Buyers—Why Spring 2025 Might Be Your Moment

Spring has always been a popular time to buy and sell homes—but this year, we’re seeing a surge of activity that could make 2025 one of the best windows we’ve had in a while.

📈 The Numbers Don’t Lie
According to the March RMLS report:

New listings rose 38% from February to March

Pending sales jumped 33%
That means it’s not just more homes hitting the market—buyers are showing up and taking action, too.
🤔 Why It Matters
If you’re a buyer:
You finally have more choices. After years of limited inventory, it feels good to have options again—and homes are hitting the market across all price ranges.
If you’re a seller:
Buyers are hungry. When homes go live now, they’re often getting quick attention—especially if they’re priced well and marketed effectively.
🚦 So Should You Make a Move?
It depends. But if moving has been on your mind, this might be the season where things align:

You’ll face less competition than you would in a hot summer market

There’s more inventory (if you’re also buying)

And buyers are clearly back in the game
🎯 Plan First, Then Act
You don’t have to rush—but you do need a plan. I always recommend chatting with your agent (or me!) at least a month or two ahead of when you’d want to list. That gives time to prep the home, dial in the marketing, and get strategic about timing.
